I am a full-time captain of the Mosquito Lagoon. Guiding anglers of all skill levels to not only fish, but memories of a lifetime is what I do and love. I don’t have the legendary “First trip to the Mosquito Lagoon” story because I was simply too young to remember the first line I got wet there. It is the 18+ years after my first Fishing trip there as a 4 or 5 year old where the story lies. At the age of 21 ( in 2015) I received my U.S. Coast Guard captains license and Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge Commercial Business Permit to conduct fishing charters in the Mosquito Lagoon. I have been striving to do something I truly love for a living! Seeing the excitement on my clients faces as they hold the rod fighting a fish on the other end of the line, and sharing that moment with someone they care about is what I’ve come to love most about this job so far.
With the lagoon essentially in my backyard, I have been patterning and following the way these fish feed and interact in their natural element for the last 18+ years. It is the subtle differences and tricks that set apart an average day on the water from a great one. I will do everything it takes to make sure you have a great one!
I am an avid outdoorsman as well having hunted since the age of 8. I love being in the woods, but I most enjoy duck and alligator hunting as I still get to be on the water and those are both fast paced species to hunt. On my 21st birthday I went skydiving at Skydive Space Center in Titusville, Fl. and jumped from 15,000 feet. I had a free-falling aerial view of the Mosquito Lagoon & Indian River! I Guarantee you a fun and memorable day on the water or the next trip is on me!
